Health Education 4U, LLC
Hello! my name is Vera Bartasavich and I am the founder of Health Education 4U, LLC. I have a passion to help groups understand the importance of eating healthier and providing guidance on lifestyle changes to achieve optimum health. My expertise spans from corporate, community-based and various group organizations
My coaching skills, education, and life experiences can help your employees, organization or club on a variety of basic nutrition skills, kitchen skills, or prediabetes/diabetes lifestyle skills. Presentations for education and instruction, grocery store tours or health fairs are ways to enhance knowledge of heath and wellness among attendees. Healthy individuals make better employees. Preventive education programs can be custom designed and online programs are available too. Are you involved in a community group or social organization? Consider having a program or workshop for your participants. I also enjoy research and can take on a project for your wellness requirements. Complete a contact form, call or email for more information
For many years I worked in the food industry as a Nutrition Specialist. Responsibilities were widespread and included tasks such as analyzing nutrition food labels for packaging and answering consumer nutrition inquiries. While I was taking nutrition classes, I initiated a nutrition speaker's bureau where myself and other volunteers presented to elementary school students on topics such as healthy food choices, calcium importance, gardening and working on a production food line. My time in the corporate world laid a foundation for my next career move to pursue my dream of helping others obtain better health through lifestyle behavior change
My credentials includes a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) along with holding the credential of Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (NDTR) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I earned a master degree in Health Education & Promotion and a master degree in Nutrition Education. My expertise includes face-to-face presentations along with experience with on online teaching at the university level. As a Lifestyle Coach and a Diabetes Educator, I am experienced in the evidenced-based techniques to help individuals dealing with high blood glucose. It is extremely important to educate, have the participants set goals and learn coping skills because without these tools no health behavior change will occur
After an onset of health problems several years ago, I found myself struggling with prediabetes. This concerned me knowing numerous family members have dealt with diabetes and I did not want to experience the disease or its devastating complications. It has been proven through years of research that lifestyle changes are the key and for me it was the way to get back to normal blood glucose levels. Seeing my clients get the same results is extremely rewarding
Thank you
